Predictable Problem Worksheet

You know those points of friction that happen everyday in your family... they suck your energy right? Our body tenses and it take time and energy to work through them.

If these points of friction happen regularly, this is what we call a predictable problem.  A common mistake that people make is they are reactive rather than proactive to predictable problems. In other words, you wait for stuff to hit the fan before you act.  You wait for the meltdown.  By then you are already in the storm.

Because of the low frustration tolerance that comes along with ADHD, there are going to be friction points, especially in moments of time pressure.  Our job is to try and anticipate friction and address it before it becomes a major issue.

I want you to watch your family members, there are undoubtedly things that they struggle with. Times of the day that are more volatile.  Pain points. Head against the brick wall moments.

Let's review these, is there a pattern? Let's make a plan for these times.  We will email you our simple predictable problems sheet and instructions on how to use it.

Our goal is that you slowly and gently start working predictable problems collaboratively with your family to create framework around these moments of friction to make them easier for your whole family.
